Christine "Chris" Elaine Todd McPherson

Chesnee, SC- Chris McPherson, 48, wife of Rick McPherson, died Monday, March 9, 2015. Born October 18, 1966 in Asheville, NC, Chris was a daughter of Sharon Armstrong Hines and Donald Todd. She was a graduate of Chesnee High School. Chris’ life interest was her children and family and working for the family business, McPherson Construction. She loved animals and enjoyed crafts. Chris was a member of Beaver Hills Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, Chris is survived by her son, Jon McPherson; two daughters, Chelsea McPherson (Adam McManus) and Reagan McPherson (Dakota Shields); a grandchild, Zared Shields; one brother, Jeff Todd (Melissa); two sisters, Jill Snipes (Jason) and Amanda Hines; and her step father, James Hines. Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 14th, 3:30PM in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In remembrance of Chris, memorials may be made to the Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
