Richard Linn "Dick" Humphries

Spartanburg, SC- Richard Linn Humphries, 56, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Dick was born October 14, 1958 in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and was a son of William “Bill” Earle and Mary Frances Johnson Humphries. He was a graduate of Spartanburg High School and attended Spartanburg Technical College. Dick was a welder by trade. In addition to his parents, Dick is survived by his sons, Evan and Alex Humphries; a brother, Douglas E. Humprhies; and his former wife, Lori Humphries. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 7th, 5:00-7:00PM at Dunbar Funeral Home. Dick’s funeral service will be private. In remembrance of Dick, memorials may be made to the Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
