Allen "Ray" Goodwin

Allen “Ray” Goodwin Roebuck, SC – Allen Ray Goodwin went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 28th, 2023, surrounded by loving family. Born in Charleston, West Virginia, he was the loving companion of Pamela N. Smith and the son of the late Merle Waldo Goodwin and Helen Garretson Goodwin. Ray was an avid sports fan that loved watching the Atlanta Braves, Carolina Gamecocks, West Virginia Mountaineers, and the Carolina Panthers. He also loved helping his family and friends in any way he could. He done for all. In addition to Pam, also surviving are a daughter, Lacy Goodwin, and two very special granddaughters, Ryleigh Cameron Smith, and Elizabeth “Lizzy” Goodwin and his sweet furbaby, Daisy. He was also survived by many other close relatives and friends who loved him dearly. Services will be held Sunday, November 5th at 2:00 PM at Riverview Baptist Church, located at 550 Old Greenville Hwy Spartanburg, SC, and officiated by Reverend Joey Gibson.
