It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Allison Marie Nolan, 29, on Thursday, June 5, 2025, and her baby boy, Anakin Luke Blackburn, who was born into peace on May 29, 2025. Allie was born August 1, 1995, to Thomas Earl Nolan Jr. and Stepanie Marie Allison Nolan.
Born and raised in Spartanburg, Allie was a graduate of Dorman High School. She was known by all as a sweet, loving person, who was kind to everyone she met. She will be deeply missed.
Along with her parents, Allie is survived by her fiancé, Mason Elliott Blackburn; children, Amethyst Rose Blackburn, Sabrina Renee Blackburn, Mason Elliott Blackburn Jr., and Jameson Blake Blackburn; brothers, Thomas Blake Nolan (Shelby) of Summerville and Thomas Earl Nolan III of Spartanburg; paternal grandmother, Patricia Mason (Benjamin) of Spartanburg; maternal grandmother, Margie Allison of Union; maternal great-grandmother, Blanche Gresham of Winnsboro; and close friends, Macy Gault and Cynthia Hammitt.
Allie was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Ricky Allison; paternal grandfather, Thomas Earl Nolan Sr.; and paternal great-grandparents, Mildred and John Ruff.
Visitation will be 10:00-11:30 AM on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at The J. M. Dunbar Funeral Home, 690 Southport Road, Roebuck, SC 29376. Graveside services will follow at 12:00 PM in Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery, 748 Gaffney Hwy, Jonesville, SC 29353, conducted by Rev. Ray Waldrop.
In memory of Allie and Anakin, the family asks that contributions toward funeral expenses be made to J. M. Dunbar Funeral Home, PO Box 6424, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
Come dressed from a galaxy far, far away—Star Wars attire is encouraged as we celebrate our little Jedi, Anakin.
