Anne Page Irwin arrived in our world in 1953 and enriched the lives of her family and friends right up until she drew her last breath on Friday, June 2, 2023. Everyone who knew Page knew she was “a force to be reckoned with” due to her insatiable quest for knowledge, truth, and treasured relationships.
Page’s family has a rich heritage in the fabric of Spartanburg, SC where she was the daughter of Wallace Reinhardt and Anne Thomas Irwin. She shared an amazing upbringing with her siblings Mary and Jodi (Brian Carter). Interestingly, her Irwin ancestors were among the families who established the Hampton Heights Neighborhood of Spartanburg, and her grandfather, Paul Thomas, was a founding musician in the Spartanburg Symphony Orchestra.
Page and her late husband Neddie “Ned” Everett Lee enjoyed a very happy marriage that was beautifully blessed by their three daughters and their families: Katherine Lee Van Vleet (Ryan) and their sons Harrison and Thomas; Margaret Lee Burriss (Mike) and her sons Alex and Hardt Bright; Caroline Lee Smith (Harold) and their daughters Elizabeth, Hailey and Carrie. Page’s grandchildren enjoyed the company of her nephew Matthew Carter.

She was a voracious bookworm with a love of all books and possessed an impressive personal library. Page and her family are animal lovers who welcomed almost every stray in the neighborhoodwho found their way into their back yard. Additionally, Page had many other talents including watercolor painting and creating beautiful handmade lace portrait dresses for little girls all over the country. Vocationally, she was the President of Moretex Chemical Products, Inc.
