Annette Tolleson Sanders

Roebuck, SC- Sylvia Annette Tolleson Sanders, 83, wife of the late Bobby Joe Sanders, Sr., died Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born August 8, 1938 in Spartanburg, SC, Annette was a daughter of the late James Jay “J.J” and Clara Evans Tolleson. She attended Roebuck High School and a lifelong member of Roebuck Baptist Church, where she was a member of the choir. Annette was employed with Harley Bag Co. for many years and an Avon representative for over 30 years. Annette is survived by her daughter, Amanda Timms and her husband, Jason, of Roebuck, SC; two step daughters, Teresa Cannady of Fountain Inn, SC and Marie Stevens and her husband, Bobby, of Woodruff, SC; and two sisters, Diana Gwinn of Roebuck, SC and Joan McAbee and her husband, Jimmy, of Roebuck, SC. She was blessed with seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Barbara “Tootsie” Petty; three brothers, Billy, Eugene, and Tillman Tolleson; a stepson, Joey; and a granddaughter, Becky. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 22nd, 3:00PM at Roebuck Baptist Church, officiated by Reverend Dr. Tim Williams. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
