Avon Jeannine Cousino Watson

Avon Jeannine Cousino Watson, age 81, of Spartanburg, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 5, 2026, surrounded by family.

Born on November 9, 1944, in Toledo, Ohio, Avon lived a life defined by love, kindness, and steadfast devotion to the Lord and her family. She was a gentle and compassionate woman who found her greatest joy in time spent with those she loved. Avon especially enjoyed baking, gardening, and creating a warm, welcoming home for her friends and family.

She was a beloved wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose presence brought comfort and joy to all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis John Cousino and Margareta Bloom Cousino, and her siblings, Eugene, Richard, Jeanette, Annette, and Carol.

Avon is survived by her devoted husband, Harold Watson; her brother, James Cousino; her children, James, Raymond, Tammy, and David; seven grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry forward her legacy of love and faith.

A private family graveside ceremony will be held at a later date at Lake Township Cemetery in Walbridge, Ohio.

Avon will be deeply missed beyond words. Her legacy lives on through the friends and family she cherished so dearly and the countless lives she touched with her kindness and grace.
