Barbara Seay O'Shields

Spartanburg, SC- Barbara Seay O’Shields, 92, wife of the late John Everette O’Shields, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022.

Born January 4, 1930 in Spartanburg, SC, she was a daughter of the late Choice and Cornelia Abernathy Seay. She was a longtime member of Oakgrove Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons, Mike O’Shields (Sophia) and Steve O’Shields (Miriam); her daughter, Denise O’Shields; grandchildren, John T. O’Shields, Michelle Nash, and Amanda Belue; three great grandchildren; and a special friend, Jean Bridgeman.

The family will receive friends Monday, August 29^th, 1:00-1:45PM at Dunbar Funeral Home.

Funeral services will follow in the Chapel at 2:00PM, officiated by Reverend Rufus Chaneyworth.

Burial will be held in Oakgrove Baptist Church Cemetery.
