Bernhard Arthur “Bernie” Rothlisberger Spartanburg - Bernhard Arthur “Bernie” Rothlisberger, 72, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020 at Spartanburg Regional Hospital of cardiac arrest. Born on August 25, 1947 in Berne, Switzerland, he was the son of the late Arthur Rothlisberger and Lucy Spielmann. He served in the Swiss Army. He worked at Rieter Corporation in Spartanburg and in Switzerland for 36 years or more and retired. He is survived by his wife, Fanny Rothlisberger of 46 years of marriage, daughter Kristy Rothlisberger of Spartanburg, and close relatives from Peru, Spain, and Switzerland. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 from 4:00pm – 6:00pm at Dunbar Funeral Home.
