Bessie Beheler Oglesby

Cowpens, SC- Bessie Beheler Oglesby, 97, wife of the late Paul W. Oglesby, passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021.

Born April 7, 1924 in Drayton, SC, she was a daughter of the late James A. and Bertha Mae Neely Beheler. Bessie was a longtime member of Cowpens First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughters, Libby Bailey (Phil), Dianne Gossett, and Paulette O’Brien (Pat); grandchildren, Dana Horn, Deneen Griffin, Cary Harris, Christina Gravely, Brian Gossett, Michele Bradley, Daniel O’Brien, and Andy O’Brien; fourteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a sister, Bertha Holcomb.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a great grandchild, Mills Griffin; a son in-law, Fred Gossett; and siblings, James and Bentford Beheler, Herbert, Joseph, Barbara, Bobbie and Dorothy Turner.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 22^nd, 12 Noon at Mount Olive Baptist Church Cemetery officiated by Reverend Kermit Morris.
