Betty Anne Huitt Couch

Betty Anne Huitt Couch, 91, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025. Born June 2, 1934 to the late R.L. “Dink” and Pearl Huitt, she was one of four sisters. She was married to James Aaron Couch for 57 years until his death in 2012.

She worked most of her life in banking, the loan business, and bookkeeping. Betty was the loving mother to three children, James Dennis Couch, Lynda Lee Couch Adair, and Eric Jerome Couch.

She is survived by her sister, Belva Huitt Boyter; her son, Eric Jerome Couch; her daughter-in-law, Janis Kay Blalock Couch; and her son-in-law, Dr. John Boyd Adair.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at The J. M. Dunbar Funeral Home, 690 Southport Road, Roebuck, SC 29376.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM on Friday, August 29, 2025 at The J. M. Dunbar Funeral Home, conducted by Dr. John Adair. Interment will immediately follow in Fort Prince Memorial Gardens, 126 Fort Prince Road, Wellford, SC 29385.
