Roebuck, SC- Bonnie Gail Sims Getz, 71, wife of David Ray Getz, died Friday, September 9, 2022.

Born September 19, 1950 in Augusta, GA, Bonnie was a daughter of the late William Washington Sims, Jr. and Mari Lou Trant Sims. She was a devoted mother, loving wife, caring grandma, and an amazing sister. Bonnie was a dedicated social worker and children’s advocate. She was of the Baptist faith and had become a skillful genealogy enthusiast.

In addition to her husband, David, Bonnie is survived by her son, John William Garrett (Kristi) of Indian Land, SC; grandchildren, William and Julia Garrett; a sister, Rhonda Barnebee (Guy) of Chesnee, SC; a brother, Larry Sims (Lois) of New York; and two nieces.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, September 14^th, 3:00PM in Westwood Memorial Gardens.
