Brian Dale Forrest, 70, of Duncan, SC passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2025. He was born in Salisbury, NC on March 2, 1955 to the late Reginold and Ann Forrest.
Brian’s work ethic and adventurous spirit showed early—he began driving a truck for Marko Chemical at just 16. He later worked for Friedman’s Jewelry before becoming the proud owner of Crossroads bar in Spartanburg. Always a fixer at heart, Brian poured his passion for helping others into opening Punchworks contractors twelve years ago.
Brian loved to fish, especially alongside Indi. A true wandering spirit with a dry wit and a generous heart, he never met a stranger. He was known for carrying magic tricks in his pocket to delight children wherever he went, leaving joy and laughter in his wake.
He is survived by his son, Zach Forrest (Kelsey); grandson, Indi Forrest; sisters, Beverly Cook (Leon) and Tamara Nimmons; friend, Robin Forrest; and nephew, Jamie Forrest. Along with his parents, Brian was predeceased by his brother, Brad Forrest.
Memorial services will be 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Nazareth Presbyterian Church, conducted by Rev. Julie Shaaf.
In memory of Brian, contributions may be made to Nazareth Presbyterian Church, 680 Nazareth Church Road, Moore, SC 29369, or to a charity of your choice.
