Caren Lee Marett, a loving wife and mother, went to be with the lord on January 23rd, 2024, at the age of 65. She was born on February 9th, 1958, in Miami Beach, Florida, to the late Patrick J. Clark and Deloris E. Saul. Caren was the beloved wife of George Earl Marett. A graduate of Norland Senior High School in Miami, Florida, Caren was a lifetime member of Point of Grace Christian Fellowship in Pembroke Park. She became a member of First Baptist Spartanburg after moving to South Carolina. She dedicated her life to being a homemaker, finding joy in caring for her children. Caren had a deep love for music, and her playlist often included artists like Amy Grant, Mercy Me, and Bobby Sherman. She also had a fondness for dogs and appreciated the simple pleasures in life. Known for her humility and modesty, Caren had a unique ability to see the good in everybody. Caren is survived by her husband, George Earl Marett, her daughters, Katherine Marett and Emily Marett, a grandchild, Nevaeh Monroe, and a brother, Clint Patrick Clark. Visitation will be 1:30-2:15pm on Sunday, January 28, 2024 in First Baptist Spartanburg Davis Chapel, 250 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306. Funeral services will follow at 2:30pm, conducted by Chuck Wallington. Burial will be held on Monday, February 5th, 2024, 2 P.M. in MJ Dolly Cooper Veteran's Cemetery.
