Carl Edward Ryder Sr.

Carl Edward Ryder Sr., 81, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away peacefully on June 29th, 2024. The son of Pearl Green and Billy Henry Ryder, Carl was born in Hot Springs, VA on January 28th, 1943.

Carl proudly served his country as a Marine Corp. Veteran. He was of the methodist faith, and proudly served as a member of Roebuck Methodist Church. 

Carl is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Ryder Mayfield of Little River, SC, and his son, Carl E. Ryder Jr. of Spartanburg, SC, and his grandson Jefferson Chase Robbins of Charleston, SC.

In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Linda Carol Ryder.

A graveside service with military honors will be held on July 3rd, 2024, 11 A.M., at Good Shepherd Memorial Park.
