Charles Lee Raines

Cowpens, SC- Charles Lee Raines, 68, husband of the late Kathy Edmonds Raines, died Monday, April 19, 2021 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born May 17, 1952 in Spartanburg, SC, Charles was a son of the late Lawrence Charles and Peggy Hall Raines. He was a faithful member of Una First Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He is survived by his step son, John Wayne Gosnell and his wife, Christina; step daughter, Darlene Elisa Blake; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two sisters, Carol Morgan and Karen Rhodes; a brother, Steve Raines; several nieces, nephews; great nieces and nephews; an uncle, Gaines Hall and his wife, Sue; and sister in-law, Bertha Raines. In addition to his wife, Charles was predeceased by a brother, Reverend Phil Raines. Services will be announced at a later date.
