Cory Lamont Vincent Moore – Cory Lamont Vincent, 44, husband of Shelia Phillips Vincent, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 1, 2021. Cory was born on October 21, 1976 to Rochester Vincent, Sr. and the late Mable Anderson Vincent. Cory is a 1995 graduate of Barton High School. He obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff in 2002 and Master of Science Degree in Management from Strayer University in 2014. He was a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity- Spring 1999 Bloody TΣ 11-Dog. Cory was a member of the Board of Directors for Spartanburg Preparatory School. He was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandpa and best friend. In addition to his wife and father, Cory is survived by two sons, Jerry Phillips (Karen) of Spartanburg, Cory Vincent, Jr. of Moore; two daughters, Anna Ruby Vincent, Hannah Grace Vincent, both of Moore; three grandchildren, Jakaila Ruby Phillips, Jerry Dewayne Phillips, Jr., Jalena Ann Phillips. He is also survived by Five brothers; Rochester (Elisa) Vincent Jr. of Chicago IL, Andrew Vincent Bellwood IL, Theodis (Katrina) Vincent of Chicago IL, Troy (Michelle) Vincent of Chicago IL, Cornell (Cassandra) Vincent of Chicago IL; Three sisters, Martha (Stanley) Pippins of Chicago IL, Doris (Ernest) Woods, Delores Lewis of Chicago IL. The family will receive friends from Noon to 1:00PM on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Emmanuel Baptist Church; 3000 Stone Station Rd., Roebuck, SC 29376. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00pm officiated by Reverend Frankie Taylor. Interment will be at Heritage Memorial Gardens, 3901 S Church St Ext, Roebuck, SC 29376.
