Cyquarius Treshaun Scott

Spartanburg, SC- Cyquarius Treshaun Scott, 17, passed unexpectedly on Monday, September 27, 2021. Born March 2, 2004 in Spartanburg, SC, Cy was a son of Ernest Cyokalee Scott and Cherise Ramone Jackson. He was a student at Dorman High School where he ran track. Cy was a track star and an gifted hurdler. Cy was artistic; deep, expressive, and creative. He was a natural at most anything he put his mind to and had a way of lighting up any room he entered. Cy was a unique spirit with an ingenious mind. He was profoundly loved by his family. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his step mother, Melissa Staggs Scott; siblings, Donald Harrison, Dauntae Harrison, Shyunna Carpenter, Anfernie Scott, Mia Woods, Cykasia Scott, DemauriA Scott, and Ernest Scott, Jr.; paternal grandmother, Barbara Scott; maternal grandmother, Brenda Urquhart; and great grandparents, Jerry and June Mostiler. A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 3rd, 1:00PM at Dunbar Funeral Home, officiated by Reverend Leonard Jackson. The family will receive friends following the service.
