Daniel Steven Flynn

Daniel Steven Flynn, 69, of Boiling Springs, SC passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025. He was born on February 24, 1956 in Spartanburg, SC to the late Betty Dodd Flynn and Henry Grady Flynn, Jr.

After graduating from Spartanburg High School (Class of 1974), Daniel became a long-time, devoted employee with Dunbar Construction. He was a member of Northbrook Baptist Church and faithfully attended his 6:00 AM Men’s Bible Study Group meetings. Daniel was a motorcycle enthusiast, owning many during his life. Most of all, he loved his family; he was a proud uncle and grandfather, creating many wonderful memories playing with them as they grew up.

Daniel is survived by his long-time partner, Sheila Hart; daughters, Megan Flynn of North Charleston, Carmen Davis (Nick) of Roebuck, and Kim Wood (James) of Boiling Springs; grandchildren, Perrin Wood, Ava Davis, and Cruz Davis; siblings, Pamela Flynn Farr (Donald) and David Henry Flynn (Kathryn Dawe); and several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Julie Kathryn Flynn.

Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at J. M. Dunbar Funeral Home & Crematory, 690 Southport Road, Roebuck, SC 29376. Memorial services will follow in the chapel at 2:00 PM, conducted by Rev. Benny Green.
