David Kenneth Wells

Spartanburg, SC- David Kenneth Wells, 69, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, January 22, 2021. He was born in Louisville, KY, and was the son of the late Ronald and Mary Jane Wells. David married Angela Jeffcoat on May 17, 2003. He graduated from Spartanburg High School and attended Baptist College in Charleston, SC. Together, David and Angie previously served churches in Spartanburg and Columbia, SC. They were currently serving at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Union, SC. In 1995, David spent time directing and traveling with the India Children's Choir, sponsored by Bibles for the World. A loving father and grandfather, David is survived by his wife, Angela Wells; two sons, Jonathan David Wells (Brian Kohut) and Joshua Kenneth Wells and his wife, Amanda; five grandchildren, Carmen Marie Wells, Caleb Joshua Wells, Keenan Turner Wells, Cameron Levi Wells and Claire Elise Wells; one sister, Deborah Wells Hendon; and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life graveside service will be held Saturday January 30th, 1:00PM at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens with information TBD and placed on social media regarding the availability of live stream. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tabernacle Baptist Church, Music Department, 915 S Pinckney St, Union, SC 29379.
