Deborah White Smith of Moore, SC passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at the age of 65. She was born in Hemmingway, SC on November 10, 1958 to the late Roger Lee and Agnes Baxley White.
A valued Human Resources Manager for over 20 years with several companies, she retired from Kohler Company. She loved Christmas, bringing the joy and magic of the season to her loved ones each year. Most of all, Deborah loved and cared for her family. Her grandchildren were the light of her later years and she found great joy in spending time with each of them.
She leaves behind her husband of 42 years, Michael Paul “Mike” Smith; sons, Paul Smith (fiancée, Barbara Mathis) of Chesnee and Chris Gatheral (Whitten) of Aiken; daughter, Kimberly Rogers (David) of Simpsonville; grandchildren, Malcolm Rogers, Simon Rogers, Grace Gatheral, and Luke Peters; brother, Gary White of Woodruff; and sisters, Sharon Schroeder (David) of Greenville and Sheila Williams of Raleigh, NC.
