Donald Ray Pack

Donald Ray Pack, 88, of Inman, South Carolina, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Born in Inman on July 28, 1937, he was the son of the late Raymond E. Pack and Azzie Lee Jackson Pack.

Ray proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1956 to 1961. He worked for 41 years as an engineer with Norfolk Southern Railway. Ray was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, where his lifelong passion for trains found its calling. He was also a dedicated member of the Inman Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry.

Ray is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Corene M. Pack; daughters, Donna Pack Campion and Lisa C. Pack; brother, Stanley M. Pack (Kaye); and many cherished nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Annie Ruth Pack White and Janice Pack Rogers.

Ray will be remembered for his love of trains, his joy in traveling, and his devotion to his family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Inman First Baptist Church, Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 1:00-2:00 with service following at 2:00 conducted by Rev. Dr. Paul Moore. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman, SC.
