Evelyn Elaine Price

Evelyn Elaine Price, 76, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 03, 2024 after an extended illness. She was a woman of great faith and love who was devoted to her family and friends.

Born on June 22, 1948 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Homer James Price and Muriel (Leake) Bingham. She was predeceased by her brother, Derwin D. Price. Elaine was a graduate of Byrnes High School. She retired as a lieutenant from the Florence Fire Department where she managed the Fire Prevention Bureau handling fire inspections, fire code enforcement, and education.

She is survived by one son, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, several cousins, and many dear friends.

Private graveside services will be held.
