Frederic Charles Githens

Spartanburg, SC- Frederic Charles Githens, 73, husband of Eileen Schoen Githens, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022.

Born February 19, 1949 in Mt. Holly, New Jersey, Rick was a son of the late Merritt H. and Verna Maanika Githens.

In addition to his wife, Eileen, he is survived by his son, Nicholas Merritt Githens of Spartanburg, SC; his daughter, Martha Elizabeth Githens of Compton, CA; grandchildren, Ava Marie, L’Eiana Marie, and Olivia Monet Githens; two brothers, Jefferey Githens and his wife, Libby, of Cooley Springs, SC and Monroe Githens and his wife, Susan, of Conway, SC; and his sister, Monica Hill of Inman, SC.

A memorial service will be held Friday, September 30^th, 2:00PM at Dunbar Funeral Home, officiated by Reverend Dr. Todd Lowe.
