Frederick James Stanley

Frederick James “Freddie” Stanley, Jr. of Rock Hill, SC passed away on May 4, 2026. He was born on January 10, 1959 in Clinton, SC to the late Carol Cole and Frederick James Stanley, Sr.

Part of a military family, Freddie moved several times during his childhood. He graduated from Pemberton Township High School in New Jersey. Freddie enjoyed watching sports and playing golf in his free time. Most of all, he was a caring man and devoted son and caregiver for his parents.

Freddie is survived by his brothers, Scott Stanley, Jeff Stanley (Sharon), and Matt Stanley (Allyson); nephews, Josh (Bailey), Kyle (Rachel), Cole, and Caleb Stanley; and numerous close aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will have a memorial gathering on May 23, 2026 in Rock Hill, SC.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Presbyterian Food Bank, 1830 Celanese Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
