Harry "Dave" Norman III

Harry Norman III, known to family and friends as Dave, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 6, 2026. He was born February 3, 1957 in Atlanta, GA to the late Harry Norman Jr. and Anne Garden Norman.

Dave had a great variety of interests which were displayed in the occupations he pursued in life. These include Formula V and motorcycle racing, a construction company, real estate sales and development, and co-captain of his late Uncle Pete Sloss’ sailing yacht, “Snowhawk”. For over a decade, he sailed the east coast from the Bahamas to Maine many times.

Dave loved people and no one was a stranger. He had a gift for bringing people together and countless friendships were made through their common relationship to Dave.

He is survived by his sister, Anne Fuller (Mike); niece, Catherine Moody (Craig); nephew, Rob Fuller (Melissa); great-nieces and nephews, Hayes, Cate, Channing, and Charlotte; his uncle, Tom Garden (Cade); and numerous cousins he dearly loved.

Visitation will be 11:00-11:45 AM on Saturday, September 19, 2026 in A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home, 2773 N Decatur Road, Decatur, GA 30033. Funeral services will follow in the chapel at 12:00 PM, conducted by Rev. John Brantley. Burial will immediately follow in Westview Cemetery, 1680 Westview Drive SW, Atlanta, GA 30310.
