James Everette Horne

James Everette Horne, 63, went home to be with the Lord Thursday October 15th, 2020. James was the husband of Debra Lynn Horne for 43 years and was the son of the late Everette Dewitt and Virginia Ruth Horne. James worked for QS/1 for 22 years. He was president and avid member of Friends of Croft at Croft State Park as well as an active member of SAMBA. He was a former member of Browns Chapel Baptist Church, and a current member of First Baptist Church of Spartanburg. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, who loved his family greatly. He will be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters; Angela Lynn Bradley and her husband Jon; Ashley-Winter Duckett and her husband Derrick; one son, John Adam Everette Horne and his wife Hanna; and six grandchildren, Grace Lynn Bradley, Jon Wesley Bradley, Lily Hope Duckett, Emma Rose Duckett, Everette James-Ryan Horne and Marylynn Michelle Horne; and his mini goldendoodle Ginger. James was predeceased by a brother, David Eugene Horne. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friends of Croft (PO Box 2107 Spartanburg, SC 29304) and Idaho Missions in care of Browns Chapel Baptist Church (PO Box 396, Pacolet Mills, SC 29373).
