Jerald "Jerry" Lam Peake

Pauline, SC- Jerald Lam Peake, 71, husband of Shirley Simmons Peake, died Thursday, July 1, 2021. Born April 28, 1950 in Woodruff, SC, he was a son of the late John Lamartine Peake, Jr. and Marcia Evelyn Stone Peake. Jerry was retired from Jerry Peake Builders and worked for many years with Peake Construction and Fiske-Carter Construction. He was a lifelong member of Calvary Episcopal Church where he served as a parishioner, vestry member, and longtime junior warden, who took great care of the facilities. Jerry will be remembered for his servant’s heart and helping hands. In addition to his wife, Shirley, Jerry is survived by his sons, Andy Peake (Angela) of Pauline, SC and Tommy Peake (Lisa) of Land O Lakes, FL; grandchildren, Drew, Alex, Emily, and Ansley; a brother, John Peake (Deloris); and his sister, Susan Cherry-Casey (Jerry). The family will receive friends Monday, July 5th, 6-8PM at Dunbar Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 6th, 4:00PM at Calvary Episcopal Church, officiated by Father Rob Brown and Father Paul Stricklin. Burial will follow in the church cemetery, officiated by Reverend Neil Keisler. The family will be at the home of Andy and Angela Peake.
