Joan Muriel Psaltis

Joan Psaltis, 85, widow of George Andrew Psaltis, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2026. Born on February 28, 1941, in New York, NY, Joan was the daughter of the late Louis and Hilda Greenberg.

Joan was an avid knitter who cherished spending time knitting with friends. She also enjoyed playing dominoes, Bible study, attending plays, and baking. She spent most of her life in Huntington, NY, before retiring to Moore, SC.

Joan was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who treasured her family and the time they spent together.

Joan is survived by her sons, Andrew George Psaltis (Seychelle) , Michael Scott Psaltis (Elizabeth), and Douglas Adam Psaltis (Hsing); a daughter Jennifer Dawn Psaltis; grandchildren, George Andrew Psaltis, Gabriella Ann Psaltis, Kaylee Elizabeth Knox, Emma Grace Knox, and Violet Quentin Psaltis.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 15th, 4:00pm at Church of The Mill, officiated by Reverend Dr. D.J Horton.
