John Myers Fulk

Greenville, SC- Myers Fulk, 19, beloved son of Thomas Wiley and Lea Bauknight Fulk, passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at his home. Born January 8, 2002, he lived his whole life in Greenville, SC. Myers attended First Presbyterian Academy, Christ Church Episcopal School, and graduated in May from the McCallie School in Chattanooga, TN. Myers honored his grandfather “Poppy” by attending his Alma Mater and he followed the path of Truth, Honor, and Duty. Myers grew up playing little league baseball and Greenville Panthers football. He played on the Junior Varsity tennis team for Christ Church Episcopal School. Myers was baptized and confirmed at Buncombe Street United Methodist Church. He spent six summers at Falling Creek Camp in Zirconia, NC, which cultivated his love of anything outdoors, i.e. camping, fishing, hunting, and nature. Myers bought a small johnboat a few years ago and spent as much time as he could fishing and hunting turkey from that boat. Other summers were spent in Jackson Hole, Wyoming with Moon Dance Adventures and in Europe with Travel for Teens. His circle of friends was forever getting bigger and bigger. He was so loved by his peers and especially his family. In addition to his parents, Myers is survived by his twin brother and soulmate, Warren Fulk; grandparents, Harriet and Clarence Bauknight and Lee Suhler; uncle, Brock Bauknight; aunt, Stephanie Rainey; and cousins, Ruth Parker and Tres Bauknight; aunt and uncle, Sandy and Debby Sanders; cousins, Philip and Karey Wilson and their children, Sanders and Allie; uncle, Wake Fulk of Florida; and great aunt, Mary Alice Warren. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Thomas Wiley Fulk. A celebration of life will be held Sunday, August 15th, 2:00PM at Buncombe Street United Methodist Church, Downtown Campus, 200 Buncombe Street, Greenville, SC 29601. A visitation will follow at the church in the Sisk Hall.
