Joyce Ann Bridges Rampey

Joyce Ann Bridges Rampey, 88, of Spartanburg, SC passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 in Forest City, NC. Born on December 15, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Thomas and Byrda Lois Bridges. Joyce was a brilliant woman; she was an avid reader and Life Master Bridge player. She loved her family dearly and took wonderful care of them all. She held a special place in her heart for her dog, Mimi. Joyce was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Spartanburg for many years. She is survived by her son, John McDuffie Rampey, III (Michelle) of Lincolnton, NC; grandsons, John Andrew Rampey and Daniel McDuffie Rampey; and brother, Ronnie Bridges (Joan) of Simpsonville, SC. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Leslie Rampey Cole. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 12:00-2:00pm at J. M. Dunbar Funeral Home, 690 Southport Road, Roebuck, SC 29376. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 374 Hudlow Road, Forest City, NC 28043.
