Joyce Virginia Smith

Joyce Virginia Smith, 78, of Roebuck, SC passed away Friday, December 5, 2025. She was born in Portsmouth, VA on August 2, 1947 to the late William Paul and Mary Rooks Jennings.

Joyce was a member of New Life Upstate Church. She loved to crochet and dote on her dog Little Bit. Most of all, she was a great mother, devoted grandmother, and loving sister.

She is survived by her children, Michael Anthony Eskew (Julie), Robert Lee Eskew, Heather Eskew Hobbs, and Paul Allen Eskew (Mee); brother, Richard William Jennings (Debra); and seven grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, William Paul Jennings, Jr.

Visitation will be 5:00-5:45 PM on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at J. M. Dunbar Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral services will follow at 6:00 PM in the chapel, officiated by Rev. David Vang.
