Kathleen T Goodwin

Moore, SC- Kathleen Theresa Kinney Goodwin, 91, wife of the late Rufus Lester Goodwin, Jr., died Friday, June 4, 2021. Born April 2, 1930 in North Ireland, Kathleen was a daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine Lynn Kinney. She was an airplane mechanic for Gulfstream Aerospace for many years. Kathleen was a devout Christian woman, always in prayer for anyone who needed it. She was a poetic soul that loved to sing. In 2012, she was able to visit the Holy Land with her daughter, a trip that she cherished. Kathleen loved her family dearly and is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Ferris and her husband, David, of Moore, SC; grandchildren, Regina, Shannon, and Tara “Ty” Ferris; and a beloved nephew, Leonard Cross of Scotland. In addition to her husband, she was reunited in death with her two brothers and three sisters. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, June 8th, 10AM in Heritage Memorial Gardens.
