Kevin Lee Hollifield

Kevin Lee Hollifield of Gaston, SC passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at the age of 68. He was born in Spartanburg, SC on January 4, 1958 to the late Leroy Hollifield and Elise Wofford Hollifield.

Kevin attended Dorman High School and worked for INA Bearings for 19 years before retiring due to health reasons. He was a man of deep faith who loved motorcycles, southern rock, but especially his family and friends. He was a wonderful husband, father, papa, and friend!

Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Lynn Hollifield; his daughters, Elizabeth Ann Pearson (Phillip), Sara Nicole Fresenius (Albert); stepson, Andrew L. Metze (Victoria); grandchildren, Bryson Metze, Katherine Pearson, Reagan Pearson, Landon Metze, Hunter Metze, and Laken Metze; and two step-grandchildren. He is also survived by his niece, Tracie Brewington Dixon (Alan); nephew, Jeff Brewington (Candy); and four great-nieces, two great-nephews, one great-granddaughter, and one great grandson. He was predeceased by his mother and father, Elise Wofford Hollifield and Leroy Hollifield; his sister, Kathy Brewington; his aunt, Nora Hollifield; and his beloved granddaughter, Angie Elise Pearson.

Visitation will be 1:30-2:45 PM on Monday, June 29, 2026 in J. M. Dunbar Funeral Home, 690 Southport Road, Roebuck, SC 29376. Memorial services will follow at 3:00 PM, conducted by Rev. Bobby Henderson.
