Kristie Lynne Schneider Nielsen, 49, passed away on March 30, 2026.

Kristie was born on July 1, 1976, in Glendale, Arizona, to Richard and Grace Schneider. A devoted Catholic, she was a faithful member of Jesus Our Risen Savior Catholic Church.

Kristie lovingly devoted her life to her family, finding her greatest joy in being present for her children and raising them with care, strength, and unwavering love. They were truly the center of her world. She also found comfort in reading mystery and thriller novels and treasured time with her beloved cats—“the good boy” Ono, Smutz, and Luna.

She was known for her dry sense of humor and her signature phrase, often telling life’s troubles to “kick rocks,” a reflection of her strength and spirited personality.

She is survived by her husband, Brian Nielsen; her daughters, Katlynne Nielsen Gerrell (husband Trevor) and Lyndsey Nielsen; and her sister, Jackie Temple. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Grace Schneider, and her brothers, Richard Schneider and Dennis Schneider. Kristie is now reunited with her beloved pets, Lola and Holly, who surely greeted her with open paws.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday April 8, 2026, at 1:30pm at Jesus Our Risen Savior Catholic Church, with burial following at Heritage Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 7, 2026, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at J.M Dunbar Funeral Home & Crematory.

Kristie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
