Larry Dean Seay, 85, died peacefully on Sunday, May 31, 2026 at Palmetto Patriot Home. Born September 24, 1940, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Albert Franklin and Rosa McAbee Seay. He was predeceased by wife Juanita Abernathy Seay and Sara Bagwell Seay.
Larry was a lifelong resident of Spartanburg and a veteran of the 101st Airborne Division, US Army. He retired after a 30-year career with United Parcel Post in 1995.
Larry is survived by his son, Vince Seay and daughters Tracy Garrett (Dale) and Robin Cathcart (Paul); three grandchildren, Nicole Mathews, Travis Tucker (Kandi), and Trey Cathcart (Amy); four great grandchildren: Tristan, Makaila, Aidan, and Madeline.
A private memorial service will be held on June 3,2026 at 3:00pm.
