Mannon Royce "Mike" Turner

Spartanburg, SC- Mannon Royce Turner, 78, husband of Ann Hamrick Turner, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022.

Born December 14, 1943 in Spartanburg, SC, Mike was the son of the late Roy and Edith Thomas Turner. He was a graduate of Spartanburg High School, class of 1961, and went on to serve in the US Airforce for 6 years in Thailand and Vietnam. Mike worked in radio and managed various car dealerships. In his later years, he became a lay minister at Unity Presbyterian Church and his latest assignment, Florence Moore Memorial Presbyterian Church.

In addition to his wife, Ann, Mike is survived by his sons, Clay Turner (April) of Columbia, SC and Matthew Turner (Nicole) of New Mexico; a daughter, Victoria Sweat (Burt) of Columbia, SC; step daughters, Meredith Wells, Ashley Mills, and Summer Cox; grandchildren, Madison, Shea (Dillon), Julia, Kylie, Cody, Alexander, and Tony; several great grandchildren; and a sister, Sondra Hodge (Larry).

He was predeceased by a son, Mannon Royce Turner, Jr.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, February 26^th, 2:00PM at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, officiated by Reverend Joanne Hull.
