Spartanburg – Miranda Patrice Abel, 25, went to be with her heavenly Father on Friday, October 29, 2021.

Miranda was born on September 20, 1996, to Steven Glen Abel and Mary Maier-Abel.  She was a very special sparkly soul that overcame many severe obstacles in her short life. She always had a bright smile for everyone. Miranda considered most everyone she met as her friends. 

In addition to her parents, Miranda is survived by her brothers, Taylor (TQ) and Tommy Abel; her grandparents, Cal and Eunice Maier and Glen Abel; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. 

A celebration of Miranda's life will be held at 4:00 PM on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at Hope Church, Spartanburg. The family will receive friends following the service.  The family requests attendees wear bright happy clothing to the service. No mourning clothes.

A service will be planned in Wisconsin at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sonshine Club, Inc., Carolina Miracle League, Georgia Sea Turtle Center, or Wisconsin Lion's Camp.
