Myra Caldwell Alley

Myra Caldwell Alley, widow of James Robert Alley, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026. Born May 24, 1937 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Hugh Cannon and Lottie Jennings Caldwell.

She was a member of the Order of The Eastern Star and the pianist for Roebuck Methodist Church.

Myra is survived by her sons, Robert Jay Alley (Carolyn) and Hughston Jodie Alley (Krystal); daughter, Emily Alley White (Chris); five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and brother, Hugh Cannon Caldwell II.

A visitation will be held 6:00-8:00pm on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at Dunbar Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be 10:00am on Thursday, July 30, 2026 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, officiated by Rev. Steve Hogge and Rev. Kristy Wilson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Roebuck Methodist Church, 3607 S Church Street Ext, Roebuck, SC 29376.
