Nettie Marie Berry

Nettie Marie Berry of Roebuck, SC passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026 at the age of 54. She was born in Spartanburg, SC on August 14, 1971 to the late Wylie Samuel and Reba Jo Duncan.

Nettie was an ambitious, determined woman who took great pride in going back to school and earning her degrees later in life. She worked for five years as a surgical technician with Mary Black Memorial Hospital, where she cared for others with dedication and compassion.

She will be remembered for her infectious laugh, bright smile, and wonderful sense of humor. Nettie never met a stranger and had a way of making everyone feel welcome. Her warm and personable nature drew people to her, and her kindness left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Nettie also had a deep love for animals and often cared for and rehabilitated injured animals. Above all else, she loved her family dearly. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren, who meant the world to her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Randall Berry; children, Brandy LeBlanc (Drew) and Houston Berry; grandchildren, Benton, Tucker, and Ava James LeBlanc; and siblings, Wanda Duncan, David Duncan (May), and Tony Duncan. She was predeceased by her brother, Tommy Duncan.

Visitation will be 1:00-1:45PM on Sunday, May 17, 2026 in J.M. Dunbar Funeral Home, 690 Southport Road, Roebuck, SC 29376. Memorial services will follow at 2:00PM, conducted by Rev. Kiah Graves.

In memory of Nettie, contributions may be made to the Spartanburg Humane Society.
