Nicholas Joseph Troisi of Greenville, SC passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025, at the age of 93. He was born August 14, 1932, in Brooklyn, NY to the late Ciro Troisi and Angelina Vaccaro Troisi Dobak.
Nicholas was formerly a member and faithful servant in many roles at Faith Lutheran Church in Hillsborough, NJ, and was a member of Joy Lutheran Church in Moore, SC. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean war. Nick was an industrial engineer for many years, both with American Cyanamid and National Starch. He served for many years as a volunteer in multiple first aid responding units, led United Way fund raising campaigns in NJ, and was an avid model train railroader since his youth.
A huge source of joy for Nick was sharing in the lives of his family and friends. He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 70 years, Madeline Krauskopf Troisi; children, Thomas Troisi (Jackie) of Pembroke, VA, William Troisi (Mary) of Woodruff, SC, Diane Bohn (Eric) of Hoschton, GA, and Lois Parrett (Rich) of Lawrenceville, NJ; grandchildren, Christopher Troisi (Brandy), Stephen Troisi (Stacey), Alisha Waldo (David), Keith Troisi (Brooke), Ashley Bohn, Kevin Bohn (Charlotte), Casey Parrett (Alec Calhoun), and Meghan Parrett; ten great-grandchildren; siblings, Anita Vance of Somerset, NJ, Louis Troisi (Mary) of Somerset, NJ, and Joan Mazzacco of Somerset, NJ; and many nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Mary Baita.
