Pamela Ann Laster, 73, of Spartanburg, SC passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025. She was born in Union, SC on November 16, 1951 to the late Benjamin Harold and Annie Ruth Johnson Fowler.
She graduated from Union High School and spent many dedicated years working at JCPenney before retiring. A longtime member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church, Pamela stayed committed to her faith throughout her life. She was known for being strong-willed, independent, and always put-together. She loved to shop and took pride in always looking her best.
Pamela enjoyed watching her soap operas and spending time with her miniature pinscher, Ben, who was her constant companion. She will be remembered by those who knew her as a woman who knew what she liked, stood by what she believed, and cared deeply for the people she loved.
She is survived by her children, Thomas William Laster (Andrea) and Jennifer Laster Duncan; grandchildren, Victoria Pearson (Charles), Andrea Henderson (Dylan), Tamara Laster, Contessa Minico, Cameron Smith, Dylan Smith, Caitlin Bond (Kelby), and Courtney Caddell (Erik); and great-grandchildren, Colin, Cara, Karlee, Lily, Maci, Brooklyn, Fisher, Joseph, Ellie Reece, Henlie Joyce, Ryleigh, and Addison.
Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Brenda Weaver, Harriett Harris, Mary Fowler, Kenneth Fowler, and Layton Fowler; and son-in-law, Jeremy Duncan.
A Celebration of Life will be 2:00pm on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church, 853 Sulphur Springs Rd, Jonesville, SC 29353, conducted by Rev. Richard Dickens.
