Pamela Sexton Shirley

Pamela Kay Sexton Shirley, 61 of Roebuck SC went home to her Heavenly Father on Monday, February 14, 2022. She was born and raised in Spartanburg SC where she graduated from Dorman High School and Spartanburg Technical College with a degree in Nursing. Pam was the daughter of Frank Sexton Sr. and the late Sara Sexton, both of Spartanburg.

Pam is survived by her husband of 42 years, Stephen (Steve) Shirley, of the home and two sons, Sean (Courtney) and Chris (Kosha) both of Spartanburg and blessed with 8 grandkids. Also surviving are two brothers, Steve Sexton (Susan) and Frank Sexton Jr. (Terri)

Pam and Steve met at Dorman High School where she graduated early, and both were class of 1977.

She was of the Baptist faith and loved to read her Bible daily. She loved to sing and play the piano/organ with her family which she adored. Many weekends were spent at Lake Murray with her family fishing and boating. She loved the sunshine and spending time outdoors. She also was an amazing cook who always planned out her meals for the week and always kept the house spotless all while juggling 2 boys to this practice or that practice and working full time. She also was a member of the Women’s VFW Auxiliary here in Spartanburg.

The family will have a private service.
