Patricia Guy Bryant

Spartanburg, SC- Patricia Guy Bryant, 82, joined her late husband, Rev. Michael Edward Bryant, Sr., in their heavenly home on Sunday, March 26, 2023.

Born March 14, 1941 in Spartanburg, SC, she was a daughter of the late Herbert L. Guy and Ruby Melinda Patterson Guy. Patricia worked for International Wire in Inman, SC for years before her retirement. She was instrumental in her husband’s ministry, not only through thoughtful and diligent prayer, but in service as a Sunday School teacher, a leader of the lady’s auxiliary, and in home missions.

Patricia’s unwavering faith was demonstrated throughout her life. She lived free of worry and placed all of her cares upon the Lord. Patricia was loved by her family, far greater than she could have known, and took care of them all spiritually, emotionally, and tangibly. She knew what it meant to be the hands and feet of Jesus, and her unconditional love extended beyond just her family. Patricia was an angel on earth and the glue that held everyone together, “Blessed be the tie that binds.”

She is survived by her sons, Michael Bryant, Jr., Mark Bryant, and Mardy Bryant; a daughter, Missie Bryant; seventeen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and two brothers, Danny Guy and Ricky Guy.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 29^th, 6-8PM at Una Free Will Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at Una Free Will Baptist Church on Thursday, March 30^th, 12:00PM officiated by Reverend Kenneth Cash and Reverend Wesley Campbell.

Entombment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
