Phyllis Ann Akert

Inman, SC- Phyllis Ann Akert, 75, wife of Daniel Lee Akert, died Sunday, August 8, 2021. Born December 30, 1945 in Lyndon Station, WI, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Alice Szymanowski. Phyllis was a member of Jesus Our Risen Savior Catholic Church. She was a former member of St. Gabriel Catholic Parish, originally St. Hubert, in Hubertus, WI for 35 years where she also served as a book keeper before relocating to Inman, SC. In addition to her husband, Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Akert; a brother, Robert “Bob” Szymanowski; and two sisters, Rita Schramek and Rosie Bartz. The family will receive friends Friday, August 13th, 6:00-6:45PM at Jesus Our Risen Savior. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 7:00PM. Burial will be held Saturday, August 14th, 9:30AM in Roselawn Cemetery, Inman, SC.
