Spartanburg, SC – Rhonda D. Raines went to her heavenly home on November 3rd, 2023. Rhonda was born on March 3rd, 1961, to the late R.D. and Imogene Wyatt Brewington. Spending her childhood growing up in Pauline, Rhonda went on to graduate from Dorman High School. She then went on to meet the love of her life, Timothy D. Raines, of whom she spent 38 years together with. Together, Rhonda and Tim raised there one and only child, Brandy Raines Stanford. She was a woman of profound faith and love. Rhonda's love knew no bounds, and she was a humble soul who never had an enemy. She was a living testament to the teachings of Christ. Her faith was unshakable, and she placed God above all else, finding solace in reading her Bible. Rhonda was proud of her roots, having grown up in Pauline, SC. She embraced the challenges life presented to her, understanding that they molded her into the incredible woman she became. Her daily strength came from the grace of God, and she wore her struggles as a badge of honor. Rhonda had a special bond with Germi, her loyal fur baby, who held a cherished place in her heart. Her love for her family, faith, and beloved dog were the cornerstones of her life. Rhonda did not need a specific hobby to make her life meaningful. She was a kind and loving soul, and her actions reflected her deep connection with God and her devotion to her loved ones. She will always be remembered as a unique and exceptional individual who was adored by all who had the privilege of knowing her.She embraced the challenges life presented to her, understanding that they molded her into the incredible woman she became. Her daily strength came from the grace of God, and she wore her struggles as a badge of honor. In addition to her daughter Brandy, Rhonda is survived by two granddaughters; Gracie Faith and Saydee Jade Stanford, and a son in law, Michael D. Stanford of Spartanburg, SC. She is also survived by a beloved brother, Tony Brewington. Services will be private.
