Spartanburg, SC- Robert Arthur Brisken, 73, husband of Sharon Ann Warner Brisken, met his Savior face to face on Monday, June 12, 2023.
Born October 8, 1949 in Salem, OH, Robert was a son of the late David Arthur Brisken and Frances Mae Gilbert Brisken. He worked for Jeffrey Manufacturing for over 30 years, and retired from JTEKT.
In addition to his loving wife of 54 years, he is survived by a son, Scott Robert Brisken and his wife, Jill, of Boiling Springs, SC; grandchildren, Ethan, Caleb, and Alaina; and sisters, Patricia Krivanek and Connie Studabaker and her husband, Charlie; and many nieces.
Robert was a member of First Baptist Church Spartanburg for 30 years and served as a Deacon. His greatest joy was serving his Lord and Savior and loving his wife, Sharon, his son, Scott, his daughter in-law, Jill, and his grandchildren, Ethan, Caleb, and Alaina. He spent time with his three grandchildren and supported them in all of their sports and activities any chance he got. He was an avid baseball fan, having played himself, and enjoyed attending Greenville Drive games for many seasons. One of his greatest joys was roaming the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Outer Banks, the South Carolina Coast… anywhere God’s glory was on display.
The family will receive friends Sunday, June 25th, 1:00PM until 2:15PM at First Baptist Church. A memorial service will follow at 2:30PM, officiated by Reverend Sal Barone and Reverend Phil VanderPloeg.
In addition to flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Spartanburg, 250 E. Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306.
