Robert Wayne Morgan

Robert Wayne Morgan of Moore, SC passed away on March 13, 2026 at the age of 89. He was born in Hendersonville, NC on February 16, 1937 to the late Robert and Elizabeth Byrd Morgan.

He was the husband of the late Mary Evelyn Morgan and a long-time member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Robert is survived by his children, Becky Ritter (Mark), Tim Morgan (Orleen), Donna Curry (Raymond), and Kathy Walker; grandchildren, Matthew Bullard (Amanda), Andrew Bullard (Amber), Stacy Morgan, Charles Curry, Samuel Curry, Brandon Allen (Jennifer), and Meagan Robertson (Jared); twin brother, Wynn Morgan (Shirley); sister-in-law, June Morgan; and numerous great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, Perry Morgan.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at 11:00 am at J. M. Dunbar Funeral Home, 690 Southport Road, Roebuck, SC 29376.

In memory of Robert, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or Bethlehem Baptist Church.
