Rosa Lee Watson

Rosa Lee Watson, 79, of Gaffney, SC passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023. Born on January 18, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Charles Wright and Miranda Caegle Fuller and the beloved wife of the late Creighton Joel Watson. A talented gardener, Rosa loved to spend time outside, especially caring for her rose bushes. She also enjoyed traveling to the beach and visiting her family in Florida. She is survived by her son, Joe Watson (Roseanne) of Pauline, SC; daughter, Rose Liles (Barry Honeycutt) of Tavares, FL; grandchildren, Devlin Watson (Torrie), Stevi Painter (Todd), Reno Watson, Brandi Cannon, Christopher Smith (Emily), and Mark Liles; seventeen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband, Rosa was predeceased by her ten older siblings. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00pm on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at The J. M. Dunbar Funeral Home, 690 Southport Road, Roebuck, SC 29376. Graveside services will be 4:00pm on Thursday, November 16, 2023 in Heritage Memorial Gardens, 3901 South Church Street Ext, Roebuck, SC 29376 conducted by Rev. Terry Candler.
