Sadie B. Pack, 84, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2025. Born on July 5, 1941, in Laurens County, South Carolina, she was the cherished daughter of the late Rufus Fred Broome and Rosamond Bagwell Broome.
Sadie was the loving wife of the late Albert Edward Pack, Sr., and together they built a family rooted in loyalty, strength, and unwavering love. She was a devoted mother to Eddie Pack, a loving mother in law to Dena Pack, a proud grandmother to Tori Price and Trey Pack, a deeply adored great-grandmother to Isaiah Price, Brayden Price, Marlee Price, and Kinleigh Price, and also a beloved great-great-grandmother to Omari Price and Damian Price, who brought her so much joy.
She is survived by her sister, Beatrice Lackey, and her brothers, John Broome and Billy Broome, all of whom she loved dearly.
Known to all who loved her as the strongest woman they ever knew, Sadie’s legacy stretches far beyond her years. She raised every generation that followed her—shaping lives with her wisdom, steadiness, and fierce devotion. Her hands held her family together, and her heart guided them through every season of life.
Sadie lived as a woman of quiet resilience, humility, and grace. She was the foundation her family built upon, and the example they will continue to follow. Her love was constant, her presence comforting, and her strength unmatched.
She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, and friend—but even more so as the rock of her family—an anchor whose influence will echo for generations.
Her family finds peace knowing she is reunited with her beloved husband and those who went before her.
